Match the right fountain to your water
Will a floating pond fountain aerate my pond?
It aerates at the surface as the pump lifts water through the nozzle. For a deep or low-oxygen pond, run it alongside a bottom diffused aerator to keep water moving lower down.
What size do I need?
Size it to your surface acreage. As a rough guide, a 1 HP unit covers up to about half an acre, and bigger or longer ponds need more. The pond fountain sizing guide breaks it down acre by acre.
How do I keep it in place?
Each unit comes with mooring lines. Run them to stakes on the shoreline or weight them to the bottom, and the fountain holds its spot out in the open water. For setup details, see our guide on how to anchor a pond fountain.
Can I light it up at night?
Yes. Most models take a matching pond light kit that mounts under the float, so the spray glows after dark. Add it at checkout or fit it down the line.
What do I need for power?
A standard residential GFCI outlet runs it. Shoreline electrical work needs a permit in some areas, so check locally. For more detail, see our guide on running power safely to a pond fountain system, and we are happy to walk through your setup first.
