If necessary, you can cut the airline with a utility knife. Once at the pond, use an airline connector kit to link the Airmax Direct Burial Airline to the Airmax Weighted Airline before the airflow reaches the diffuser plate submerged in the water. Precautions: When using the Airmax Aeration System, ensure that the total length of the airline per plate does not exceed 1,000 feet. The 5/8" Direct Burial Airline connects easily to both 5/8" Weighted Airline using the appropriate connector kit. Use 5/8" diameter airline for runs longer than 300 feet or when the total length exceeds 600 feet in your aeration system.
