The main draw is aeration without running electrical service out to the water. For a remote farm pond, dugout or stock tank, trenching power across a property can be difficult or expensive.

Choose the Base when your pond is up to 1 acre and up to 30 feet deep, and you want a system sized for a smaller water body.
Choose the Deluxe when your pond is up to 2.5 acres. It produces up to 4.5 CFM of airflow, uses 18-gauge galvanized steel, and its patented BalCam II compressor has fewer moving parts.
Choose the Super Premier when your pond is up to 3 acres and up to 30 feet deep and you want the most output of the three. It produces up to 4.5 CFM, is built from 18-gauge galvanized steel, and is designed to run in low wind.

How to choose the right size and tower
Start with the pond itself, then look at the site.
- Pond surface area: the Base is sized for up to 1 acre, the Deluxe up to 2.5 acres, and the Super Premier up to 3 acres.
- Depth: the Base and Super Premier are sized for ponds up to 30 feet deep. Match the system to your average and maximum depth where you can.
- Wind exposure: output depends on steady wind, so open sites get the most from a windmill system.
- Tower height: the Base is available with 3- or 4-leg towers from 12 to 24 ft. A taller tower can reach steadier wind above trees and outbuildings.
- Airflow: the Deluxe and Super Premier produce up to 4.5 CFM, which moves more air through the diffusers.

Placement and power requirements
Wind exposure decides how well any windmill system performs. Site the tower on open ground where trees, buildings or berms do not block the wind.
The tower does not have to sit at the water's edge. Airline can run from a windier site down to the pond, so you can place the windmill where the wind is best.
Wind-powered aeration only runs when there is wind. In areas with long seasonal calms, it is worth discussing a supplemental system alongside it. Check each product page for the setup details that apply to that model.

What happens to oxygen levels when the wind stops?
Water holds oxygen through a short calm, so a few quiet hours are usually not a problem on their own. Longer stretches of still, hot weather are what to watch, since output depends on wind. If your area goes through multi-day calms regularly, look at a supplemental system alongside the windmill.
Can I put the windmill on a hill away from the pond?
Yes, and it is often the better choice. The tower belongs where the wind is strongest and steadiest, and airline can run from that site down to the pond.
How deep will these systems push air?
The Base and Super Premier models are sized for ponds up to 30 feet deep. Depth matters as much as surface area when sizing, so check the product page for the model you are considering or ask us before ordering.
Do these windmill aerators use electricity?
No. All three models run on wind power alone, so there is no wiring to the pond and no energy bill to run them.
