How the Kasco De-Icer Works
The Kasco De-Icer is designed to suspend just below the water’s surface, creating an upward circulation of warmer water to prevent ice formation. Using a high-performance 115V or 230V motor, it disrupts the natural freezing cycle, maintaining an ice-free zone up to 50 feet in diameter. The de-icer is perfect for docks, marinas, and boats, ensuring a safe and functional aquatic environment during the winter months.
Setup Options:
Suspension Ropes (Included): Mount your de-icer with the provided 20-foot ropes for an easy, flexible setup.
Universal Mount Kit (Optional): Attach the unit to a dock or piling and adjust the angle and depth as needed. Requires a 1-inch threaded pipe (customer-supplied).
Industrial Mount Kit (Optional): Built for harsh environments with stainless steel and galvanized parts. Requires a 1.5-inch/40 mm pipe (customer-supplied).
Optional Thermostat Controllers
C-20 Controller: Set both time and temperature for precise de-icer activation.
