Additionally, it is filled with non-hygroscopic pressure molded polystyrene foam, providing enhanced durability and buoyancy. The POWER DRIVE ASSEMBLY comprises a mounting structure (drive structure assembly), pump/propeller, nozzle, and motor, all working together to drive the fountain system. On the other hand, the ELECTRICAL SERVICE CABLE ASSEMBLY consists of a standard 100’ length of AWG# 12/4 submersible cable. It is accompanied by a submersible quick disconnect connector that conveniently plugs into the fountain, ensuring a secure electrical connection. The CONTROLS encompass various components, such as a 24-hour time clock, off/on trippers, a Franklin Electric start and run QD capacitor box, and an inline ELCI ground fault protector. These components are prewired and thoughtfully mounted on a 16” x 14” plate. It is worth noting that Air-O-Lator relies solely on the Franklin Electric 600M submersible motor for all fountain lines. This motor is specifically engineered for lake and pond fountain applications, ensuring both water cooling and lubrication. Furthermore, it prioritizes environmental safety as an integral feature. The CENTRIFUGAL PUMP DISPLAY FOUNTAIN’s distinctive center discharge pump design ensures that both the shaft of the submersible motor and the discharge remain in a vertical position. Consequently, this design feature allows the entire weight of the fountain to be concentrated in the center of the float. Moreover, this design facilitates the easy installation and removal of the fountain from the float, eliminating the need for special mounting brackets or hardware. It is important to note that this fountain is intended solely for aesthetic purposes, as the volume of water being pumped into the air is not sufficient to be considered an aerating device according to oxygen transfer testing and Air-O-Lator’s stringent standards.

POWER DRIVE ASSEMBLY – mounting structure (drive structure assembly), propeller (Carnival Nozzle), and single phase motor. ELECTRICAL SERVICE CABLE ASSEMBLY – 100’ (standard) of AWG# 12/4 submersible cable and a submersible quick disconnect connector, which plugs into the fountain. CONTROLS – 24-hour time clock with multiple off/on trippers, a Franklin Electric start and run QD capacitor box and an inline ELCI ground fault protector with a standard 230 volt, 15 amp plug. All of the components are prewired and mounted on a 16” x 14” plate. Air-O-Lator exclusively uses the Franklin Electric 600M submersible motor on all fountain lines. The water cooled and lubricated motor is especially designed for lake and pond fountain applications and is environmentally safe. The PROPELLER PUMP AERATING FOUNTAIN (with our scientifically engineered foul-resistant propeller) pumps 1,000 gallons of water per minute into the air through a specifically designed nozzle (Carnival). This causes the large column of water to shear into millions of micro droplets exposing more water to the atmosphere. As the aerated water returns to the parent body of water surface, turbulence is created in a 360 degree radius outward from the fountain increasing the interface of air to water, therefore transferring the atmospheric oxygen to the water. Tips to pick the perfect pond fountain including the Font’N-Aire Ready 1HP: How Big is Your Pond? The size of the pond also matters, along with the shape. A large fountain with a motor of 1.5 HP is enough for an acre of water coverage. Depending on the shape of the pond, a simple V-shaped spraying pattern should do the job perfectly. You may need to install two fountains if your pond is larger than an acre and deeper than 6 feet. If you’re investing in a water fountain purely for decoration purposes, you won’t need to consider the HP of the motor. Another thing to consider is the type of powered fountain you are getting for your pond.  

The InterMix Submersible mixer features heavy-duty mixers designed specifically for handling raw, screened wastewater. The propeller has its own dedicated bearings housed within the fairwater, which prevents any strain on the motor. Each mixer comes with a 304 stainless steel motor support and mount. The mount is compatible with a 4" square tube mast (not included; can be sourced locally), allowing for easy raising, lowering, and removal of the mixer without needing to enter the tank. For direct-drive mixers, an optional pontoon floating mount is available, making it perfect for lagoons and oxidation ditches (sold separately). This unit is equipped with a Baldor 3-phase continuous duty motor, featuring Class F insulation and UL listing for Class 1, Group D, Division 1 explosion-proof environments, along with a 30-foot power cord.
