Replace Your Kasco Motor Without Replacing the Whole Unit
A worn or failed motor doesn't mean a new aerator or fountain. These genuine Kasco Marine replacement motors fit Kasco surface aerators, AquatiClear circulators, J Series fountains and VFX aerating fountains from 1/2 HP to 7.5 HP. Choose your motor, then choose the cord length you need.
• Genuine Kasco Motors: Built by Kasco Marine for its 2400, 3400, 4400, 8400, 3.1, 5.1 and 7.3 series units.
• 120V and 240V Options: The 3/4 HP and 1 HP come in 120V or 240V. The 2 HP to 5 HP are 240V single phase, and the 7.5 HP is 240V three phase.
• Cord Lengths up to 400 FT: Order a stub cord to reuse your Kasco quick-disconnect cord, or get the motor with a new cord in the length you need.
• Built for Continuous Duty: Oil-cooled motors with thermal overload protection, made to run around the clock.
• Manufacturer Warranty: 2 years on the 1/2 to 1 HP, 3 years on the 2 to 5 HP, and 5 years on the 7.5 HP.

Photos show each motor series in its surface aerator, circulator, J Series and VFX versions. Where two values are shown, the first is 120V and the second is 240V. Amps vary with the unit the motor runs in, so each range runs from the lowest to the highest rating in Kasco's current manuals.
Kasco Replacement Motor Cord Options
| Option | What You Get |
| Stub Cord w/ Quick Disconnect | The motor with a short stub cord (3 ft, or 6 ft on the 7.5 HP) ending in the motor-side half of a Kasco quick disconnect. Choose this if your existing Kasco quick-disconnect power cord is in good shape. |
| 25 FT to 400 FT | The motor plus a new power cord in the length you choose. Some lengths come with the cord attached to the motor. Longer lengths ship as the stub-cord motor plus a matching Kasco quick-disconnect cord that plugs into it. |
| 100 FT Stainless Steel Cord Protection | 3/4 HP 240V only. A 100 ft cord covered end to end in stainless steel sleeving to protect it from damage. |
Connecting and Powering Your New Kasco Motor
- Stub cord motors: plug the stub into your existing Kasco quick-disconnect cord and hand-tighten the blue collar. A loose collar can leak.
- Motors with a cord 100 ft or longer: the cord ships separately. Connect it to the motor's stub cord the same way.
- Before the unit goes back in the water, check that the threaded collar has not loosened in shipping.
- Run the motor only from a GFCI-protected circuit or Kasco control panel, and test the GFCI at installation and every 30 days.
- 7.5 HP three-phase: check rotation before installing. Viewed from below, the propeller should turn clockwise.
Kasco Motor Maintenance: Make Your New Motor Last
| Task | How Often |
| Check the zinc anode on the motor shaft | Every 2 to 3 months |
| Replace the zinc anode | When it is worn to half its size or turns white |
| Clean algae and calcium off the stainless motor housing | At least once a year; 2 to 3 times a year in warm climates |
| Replace the seals and change the oil | After 3 years; sooner with year-round use in warm climates |
| Test the GFCI | Every 30 days |
Seal replacement and other motor repairs are done by Kasco or a Kasco Authorized Repair Center. The warranty requires a GFCI-protected supply and a maintained zinc anode, and does not cover the power cord or propeller.
Before You Order a Kasco Replacement Motor
- Match the horsepower and voltage to your existing Kasco unit. The model number tells you both: an "H" (such as 3400HJF) means 240V.
- Kasco ships these replacement motors with a zinc anode on the motor shaft. They do not include a propeller, cage, float, nozzles or control panel.
- Measure the distance from your outlet or control panel to the unit before choosing a cord length.
- Already have a Kasco quick-disconnect cord? Choose the stub cord option.
- Need a new cord for the 7.5 HP three-phase motor? Contact us and we will match the right Kasco three-phase cord for your run.
- Kasco requires a 10% restocking fee on returned motors.
- Kasco's warranty requires a GFCI-protected supply and a maintained zinc anode.
- Not sure which motor you have? Contact us with the model number on your unit and we will match it for you.
