EPDM Pond Liner Seam & Repair Kits
Joining two sheets of EPDM liner, or patching a tear, comes down to tape, primer, caulk and the right tools. Anjon packs them into eight kits, so you choose the job and the length and everything arrives in one box.
• Standard Seam Kits: 3″ double-sided seam tape, primer, lap caulk, a brush and a seam roller for liner-to-liner seams in 25′, 50′ or 100′.
• Professional Seam Kits: add 6″ EPDM flashing tape in the same length, plus more primer and caulk, for larger or more complex builds.
• Repair Kits: pre-cut patches for punctures and tears. The Deluxe kit adds primer, a brush and a roller, so nothing else is needed.
• Made for EPDM: for 45 mil and 60 mil EPDM rubber pond liner.

Standard vs Professional Seam Kit: Which One Do You Need?
Add up the length of every seam in your liner, then pick the next kit size up. A Standard kit bonds the two sheets together with 3″ double-sided tape between them. A Professional kit also gives you the same length of 6″ flashing tape to lay over the top of the seam, plus extra primer and caulk, for larger or more complex installations. For one hole or tear, a Repair Kit is all you need.
How to Seam an EPDM Pond Liner
- Overlap the two sheets of liner, then fold back the top sheet.
- Clean both sheets where they overlap, removing dirt, oil and loose debris, then let them dry completely.
- Brush Anjon EPDM primer onto both sheets where the tape will go: the top of the bottom sheet and the underside of the top sheet.
- Wait 15 to 30 minutes, until the primer is slightly tacky to the touch.
- Press the tape onto the bottom sheet, peel off the release liner and lay the top sheet down over it.
- Roll the whole length of the seam with a seam roller to push out air pockets.
- Run a bead of black lap caulk along the exposed edge.
- Let it cure for 24 hours before filling the pond.

Do the kits include primer?
Every seam kit does, sized to the kit. The Deluxe Repair Kit includes 8 oz. The standard Repair Kit does not, so add a quart of Anjon EPDM primer or choose the Deluxe kit.
Will these work on my liner?
They are made for 45 mil and 60 mil EPDM rubber pond liner.
How long before I can fill the pond?
Let the seam or patch cure for 24 hours.
My seams are longer than 100 feet. What should I do?
Combine kits, or buy 3″ seam tape, flashing tape, primer and lap caulk separately in the lengths you need.
Can I buy the tools on their own?
Yes. The 1¼″ seam roller and black lap caulk are sold separately.
Before You Order an Anjon Seam or Repair Kit
- Measure every seam in the liner and add them together. Choose the kit that covers that total.
- Plan to seam on a dry day. The primer has to dry to a tack and the seam needs 24 hours before water goes in.
- The standard Repair Kit has no primer. Add primer or choose the Deluxe Repair Kit.
