3″ Double-Sided EPDM Pond Liner Seam Tape
When one sheet of liner is not big enough, Anjon's 3″ double-sided seam tape joins two sheets into one watertight liner. It goes between the overlapped sheets and, with both sheets primed, bonds the rubber together for a seam that holds under water.
• 3″ Wide, Double-Sided: bonds to the bottom sheet and the top sheet at the same time.
• Three Roll Lengths: 25′, 50′ and 100′, so you buy only what your seams need.
• Made for EPDM: for 45 mil and 60 mil EPDM rubber pond liner.
• Primer Required: prime both sheets with Anjon EPDM primer (sold separately) for the tape to bond.
• Want It All in One Box?: the Anjon Seam Kits pair this tape with primer, caulk and tools.

How to Seam EPDM Liner With Double-Sided Tape
- Overlap the two sheets of liner, then fold back the top sheet.
- Clean both sheets where they overlap, removing dirt, oil and loose debris, then let them dry completely.
- Brush Anjon EPDM primer onto both sheets where the tape will go: the top of the bottom sheet and the underside of the top sheet.
- Wait 15 to 30 minutes, until the primer is slightly tacky to the touch.
- Press the tape onto the bottom sheet, peel off the release liner and lay the top sheet down over it.
- Roll the whole length of the seam with a seam roller to push out air pockets.
- Run a bead of black lap caulk along the exposed edge.
- Let it cure for 24 hours before filling the pond.
Anjon Seam Tape FAQs
Is primer included?
No. Order Anjon EPDM primer with the tape, or choose an Anjon Seam Kit, which includes it.
How much tape do I need?
One foot of tape for every foot of seam. Measure each seam, add them together and pick the roll that covers the total.
What is the difference between seam tape and flashing tape?
Seam tape is double-sided and goes between two sheets of liner. Flashing tape is wider and goes on top, to cover a seam, seal around pipes and fittings, or patch holes.
How long before I can fill the pond?
Let the seam cure for 24 hours.
