A fountain loses water every day to sun, wind and splash. Let the level drop too far and the pump runs dry. This float valve tops the basin back up automatically and shuts off at the level you set, with no electrical connection.

Auto Fill Kit FAQs
Do I need the 30 PSI regulator?
If your water pressure is over 30 PSI, yes. Higher pressure can hold the valve open so it keeps running. Most homes run above 30 PSI, so the regulator is the safe choice.
Will it work on a pond?
This kit is for fountain basins. For ponds and pondless waterfalls with a Blue Thumb Elite Skimmer or Pump Canyon, use the Hudson Auto Fill Kit (PB1342).
Does it shut off the pump or warn of leaks?
No. It only keeps the water level up. It is not a pump shutoff or leak alarm.
