Vertex Air XL2 Pond Aeration System: Bottom Diffused Aeration for Ponds and Lakes

The Vertex Air XL2 is a bottom-diffused aeration system for ponds and lakes. A QuietAir™ cabinet on shore houses a Brookwood compressor that pushes air through weighted tubing to XL2 AirStations on the pond bottom. The rising bubbles circulate the whole water column, adding oxygen, cutting muck and algae, and keeping fish healthy year round.

• Six Sizes: Air 1 through Air 6, with one to six XL2 AirStations. The number in the model name is the number of AirStations.

• 115V or 230V: Every model comes in either voltage.

• Self-Cleaning Diffusers: Each XL2 AirStation carries two 9″ membrane disks on a stainless steel base that won't sink into soft sediment.

• Optional Add-Ons: Sound Reduction Kit and BottomLine self-weighted tubing in 50, 100, 250 or 500 ft.

How Much Weighted Tubing Do I Need?

Each AirStation needs its own run of weighted tubing from the cabinet. Measure the distance from the cabinet to each AirStation location and add them up. The tubing option adds one box or spool of the selected length; for multiple AirStations or long runs, add more Vertex BottomLine™ Self-Weighted Tubing or contact us and we'll work it out with you.

Do I Need the Vertex Sound Reduction Kit?

Without the kit, a QuietAir™ cabinet runs at about the volume of normal conversation. If the cabinet will sit near a patio, bedroom window or neighbor, add the Sound Reduction Kit. It is sized to the cabinet, so the price differs by model.
