The first treatment a new pond needs, and the first one an established pond needs each spring. A pond's biological filter is a living bacterial colony, and until that colony is established the nitrogen cycle does not function — ammonia from fish waste has nothing converting it, and you get cloudy water, stressed fish and an algae bloom.

Pond Starter Bacteria seeds that colony deliberately rather than waiting weeks for it to develop on its own. Professional concentration, roughly 25% stronger than the retail version.
