GCTek BioMotion Filter: Fluidized Bed Biological Filtration
The GCTek BioMotion Pond Filter is a fluidized bed, or motion, filter that adds bioconversion of soluble wastes to your pond. Most units like it depend on gravity flow or air fluidization to move the bed. With the BioMotion BioVerter, the flow from your present filter system moves the self-cleaning fluidized bed instead.
• Runs on Your Existing Flow: The water your current filter system already moves is what fluidizes the bed.
• Light, Sinking Media: BioMotion media is barely heavier than water, so it sinks when the flow is off.
• Low Flow Needed: Even the flow from a 1/8 HP pump is enough to raise and fluff the biological bed.
• Five Sizes: 1.5 to 8.0 cu ft of media.
• Add Biological Capacity: Add one to a GC Tek system at purchase, or to an existing system, to increase the biological carrying capacity of the pond.
