AquaSieve2 Pond Strainer and AquaSieve SS Prefilters
The GCTek AquaSieve Pond Prefilter goes in front of your pump and catches leaves and debris in a large strainer basket before they clog the pump basket or load up the filter. GC Tek notes that pumps and filters always work better with a solids separator ahead of the pump. Choose the AquaSieve2 in high impact plastic with a clear lid, or the new 2026 AquaSieve SS in heavy gauge 316 polished stainless steel in 2″, 3″ or 4″.

AquaSieve2
High impact plastic, 12″ diameter × 27″ tall, with a clear lid and a huge strainer basket. The prefilter GC Tek uses on its PLUS and PLUS PRO systems.
AquaSieve SS (2.2, 3.3 and 4.4)
Extremely heavy duty 316 polished stainless steel, 10″ × 29″ tall, stainless basket and handle, easy-open lid with a positive seal and a water drain fitting.

AquaSieve SS inlet and outlet are on the same side. The 3″ model is also available with openings on opposite sides; mention it when you order.
