Aquascape Lake Sludge Remover Packs

For the black organic muck that accumulates on lake bottoms, beach areas and shorelines. That layer is decades of leaves, waterfowl waste and dead vegetation, and it is what produces the smell, the low oxygen at depth, and the soft bottom nobody wants to wade into.

These packs sink and dose the sludge layer directly rather than treating the water above it. That matters — a surface-dosed liquid mostly disperses before it reaches the bottom. Packs let you spot-treat a swimming area or a specific shoreline without treating the whole lake.

Important

Lake and large pond use only. On a heavy muck layer, treatment works considerably faster alongside bottom-diffused aeration — oxygen at the sediment surface is what the bacteria need to break the layer down. Muck several feet deep may be better addressed mechanically first.
