The Airmax EasySet Direct Burial Airline is designed to carry airflow underground from an aeration system toward the pond while helping protect the line from surface traffic and exposure. Its 5/8" inside diameter makes it well suited for longer aeration runs and installations where the compressor is located away from the shoreline.

This direct burial airline is supplied in a 100' roll and is intended for underground installation between the compressor and the pond's edge. At the shoreline, it can be connected to weighted airline for the underwater portion of the run.

Airmax 100 FT Direct Burial Airline
The 100' roll can be cut as needed during installation. For longer runs, additional sections can be connected using the appropriate airline connector fittings.
Airmax Underground Aeration Airline
For installation, dig a shallow trench, remove sharp rocks or debris, lay the airline without kinks, and cover it after all connections are secure. At the pond's edge, transition to weighted airline before continuing underwater to the diffuser.
Airmax EasySet Underground Airline
For longer aeration runs, 5/8" airline helps reduce airflow restriction compared with smaller-diameter tubing. Airmax recommends 5/8" airline for runs longer than 300' or when total airline length exceeds 600'.
Installation Notes
