The Airmax EasySet Direct Burial Airline is specifically designed for underground use, carrying airflow from the air compressor to the pond’s edge where it can be connected to a weighted airline for underwater diffusion.
How to Use the Airmax Direct Burial Airline:
When installing the Airmax Aeration System away from the pond, connect the EasySet Direct Burial Airline to the compressor using a 5/8" to 5/8" airline connector kit. Dig a trench about 6-12 inches deep, removing any rocks or debris. Lay the burial airline in the trench, running it from the compressor to the pond’s edge.
If necessary, you can cut the airline with a utility knife. Once at the pond, use an airline connector kit to link the Airmax Direct Burial Airline to the Airmax Weighted Airline before the airflow reaches the diffuser plate submerged in the water.
Precautions:
- When using the Airmax Aeration System, ensure that the total length of the airline per plate does not exceed 1,000 feet.
- The 5/8" Direct Burial Airline connects easily to both 5/8" Weighted Airline using the appropriate connector kit.
