Avoid a straight "B-line" from the pond edge to the fountain, as it can cause undue pressure on the motor and outlet. Be sure to allow enough slack in the cord.
   
   
2. What's the difference between oil-filled and oil-free motors?
   
   Both oil-filled and oil-free motors require no maintenance from the user. Our manufacturer has carefully selected which models perform best with or without oil, ensuring optimal performance for each model.
